An exciting, one-of-a-kind summer opportunity with newly merged advertising firms! This newly expanded advertising agency combined a 29-year-old full-service firm with a 19-year-old firm to form a large dynamic ad agency with a 12-member team. Both companies have previously hosted many interns helping them learn their craft and land careers in advertising, PR and marketing fields.
Join the Condron Sweda Advertising team for the summer as they develop and place creative traditional and digital media for their variety of clients. Interning both in the office and virtually, you’ll receive top mentorship! You’ll participate in creating content and concepts for the firm’s customers!
Logistics:
Late May/early June 2023 start; 10 week-long internship
Minimum 10 hours per week
$12.50/hour
Hybrid [Virtual and On-site internship] - Business location in Clarks Green, PA (Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania)*

Qualifications:
Communications, PR, Advertising, Digital Marketing or Marketing coursework
Social media experience and understanding, applicable to business
Have previous experience posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn
Proven, high-quality writing and research skills
PR writing and/or Video, photography skills a plus
Projects: Develop innovative material for social media and web for Condron Sweda’s diverse business clientele:
Work with the Condron Sweda team to understand client vision, branding goals and needs
Do daily research, presenting findings and gaining feedback from the Condron team
Combine your ideas, market research, and writing into social media-ready products
Some traditional advertising practice and insight will be included!

Be a resident of Lackawanna County currently enrolled in a college or university
Be a currently enrolled student of a Lackawanna County college or university
Be a currently enrolled student of a Chamber member college or university: Clarks Summit University, Fortis Institute, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, Johnson College, Keystone College, Lackawanna College, Luzerne County Community College, Marywood University, Misericordia University, Penn State Scranton, The University of Scranton, Wilkes University.
