Catholic Women's Conference, Northeast PA Information Outreach – The Refresh Your Faith Conference is a one-day Catholic Women's Conference featuring inspirational speakers for the northeast region of Pennsylvania and beyond. The mission is to invigorate and enrich the faith of our sisters in Christ.
The conference is entering its third year and has drawn more than 800 women with the goal of increasing the number of attendees to 1,000-2,000 in 2020.
Description This is an unpaid position for undergraduate four-year university students majoring in marketing or communication. The role is dedicated to increasing the agency’s social media footprint by increasing ‘likes’ and followers in platforms currently utilized, and possibly introducing new platforms. The intern role must also focus on brand management. Other opportunities include smart phone video production, email marketing and promotion, production of printed materials including fliers and conference program. The position will also include planning the technical and logistical operations of the event. The position works closely with the Director of Marketing for the conference.
The intern will gain invaluable experience and portfolio inserts growing social media platforms to increase the reach of the nonprofit organization. This position also will include aggregating information on Internet Influencers and traditional media personnel.
The conference is Saturday, June 20,2020. The intern will be required to be in attendance and assist in the technical and logistical aspects of the event.
