Job Description
Ellucian is seeking a Communications Intern who brings passion and creativity to the workplace. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure the company is a great place to work by delivering effective employee communications as well as developing and implementing creative and progressive employee engagement marketing materials to strengthen organizational culture and better promote Ellucian as a top place to work.
An integral member of the Internal Communications team within our People organization, our communications Intern will play a critical role in promoting our culture and bringing the Ellucian story to life across a variety of channels – such as our Team Ellucian social media pages, career site, and our companywide newsletter – and through various mediums, including video and design. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly collaborative and creative team at the helm of driving transformational change in a fast-paced environment.
Where you will make an impact:
Conceptualize and create content for Ellucian’s Team Ellucian social media, our culture platform.
Write and produce stories in a variety of media, including news and blog articles, video, and messaging app platforms (i.e., Slack).
Enhance Ellucian’s ability to produce content by sharing compelling, relatable narratives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to create content that can be used for multiple purposes.
Be a company enthusiast and assist in the brand ambassador program.
Qualifications
Enrolled in school (i.e., community college or 4-year institution)
Strong written communications skills
Great knowledge of social media platforms — LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok
Creativity, competence and experience in corporate communications strategy and implementation
Strong detail orientation and the ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently is essential.
Enthusiasm for learning and positive attitude
