Job Description
iRonick Media is looking to recruit a talented, ambitious, and creative intern with a passion for marketing and social media. This is a great opportunity to gain experience expanding the social media reach and brand awareness of a media production company.
Work can be performed remotely. Candidates should be available 5-15 hours/week and during regular business hours, Mon-Fri. Juniors or Seniors preferred. Interns are compensated at $15/hour.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet department objectives:
· Create engaging social media campaigns to boost brand awareness
· Schedule daily and weekly social media posts;
· Assist in creating and maintaining website content through defined website templates.
· Implement social media strategies to utilize paid and free advertising through Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, etc.
· Identify trends and conversations relevant to podcasting and the iRonick Media brand
· Track and analyze marketing data to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness.
· Develop strategies to increase followership and engagement.
· Keep track of social media trends and competition.
· Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
Qualifications
· Visual storytelling skills, using Canva, Snappa, Adobe Suite, or similar applications
· Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
· Experience with managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram LinkedIn, and YouTube.
· Knowledge of contact management and email marketing systems such as Outlook, MailChimp, and/or Constant Contact.
· Creative, motivated, well-organized, with good attention to detail
· Computer proficiency in Windows, Office, electronic databases, and web searching
· Active student in good standing currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master level program, Junior or Senior preferred
