WBMG is looking for interns that want hands-on experience in the online and digital content industry. Companies today value candidates who have real-world experience across multiple platforms. The internship opportunities below provide the opportunity to gain experience and build a portfolio. The following positions are available for the upcoming semester (detailed descriptions can be found below):

• Digital Marketing Intern

• Podcast Production Intern

• Video Production Intern

All WBMG internships are 100% remote, have a flexible work schedule and are unpaid.

DIGITAL MARKETING INTERNSHIP

• Gain a deeper knowledge of digital marketing and search engine optimization

• Build an understanding of audience targeting, marketing analytics and measurement

• Grow your writing skills in content creation and social media marketing

• Develop creative skills through graphic design

• Learn how to optimize for social, email and web conversion

• Develop the skills needed to audit a digital content strategy and provide actionable recommendations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the WBMG team to develop and execute social media marketing campaigns for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest

• Provide social and digital marketing recommendations

• Analyze traffic and user engagement data to assess results, optimize content and improve conversions

• Assist with the WBMG editorial calendar to ensure we are meeting deadlines and tracking relevant data

• Create content for blogs, social networks and email campaigns

• Create images as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Students who have or are working toward a degree in marketing, communications or another related field

• Solid understanding of social networks

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment and detail oriented

• Experience in Wordpress is a plus, but not necessary

PODCAST PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP

• Gain a deeper knowledge of podcast production process

• Build your understanding of audio editing tools and processes

• Learn how to manage a comprehensive podcast production workflow

• Develop the skills needed to audit a digital content strategy and provide actionable recommendations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Edit audio, add and splice clips and process audio with enhancements

• Ensure the quality of audio and be able to diagnose technical issues

• Turn around finished product quickly

• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain project deadlines

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Students who have or are working toward a degree in audio/sound engineering or another related field

• Solid understanding audio editing concepts and tools

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment and detail oriented

VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP

• Gain a deeper knowledge of the video production process

• Build your understanding of video editing tools and processes

• Learn how to manage a comprehensive video production workflow

• Develop the skills needed to audit a digital content strategy and provide actionable recommendations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Edit video footage provided by WBMG for multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

• Ensure the quality of video and audio

• Turn around finished product quickly

• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain project deadlines

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Students who have or are working toward a degree in video production or another related field

• Solid understanding video editing concepts and tools

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment and detail oriented
