WNEPA-TV PT - Production

WNEP-TV, the ABC affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pa has an immediate opening for a Part Time Broadcast Technician. This position is an exciting opportunity for a computer savvy, production control room team based professional. This person will perform various production tasks during newscasts and production events for the dominant local station in the Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania region.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the production and news departments in the preparation and delivery of high quality newscasts.

• Be proficient in the operation of camera robotics, studio set up, teleprompter, lighting and audio operations.

• Demonstrate good Communication skills.

• Be a problem solver.

• Must be able to identify and execute high quality television production.

• Maintain professionalism while upholding the high standards of WNEP.

• Demonstrate the ability to operate camera on location remotes both recorded and live.

• Perform other production duties as assigned.
